What else do you need besides 1,000 followers?

Three conditions sit alongside the follower threshold, and TikTok checks all of them before showing you the LIVE option.

• You must be 18 or older. TikTok’s Safety Center states the rule plainly: confirmed under-18 accounts lose LIVE access, and accounts confirmed under 13 get removed. Verification can mean a government ID, a selfie, a card authorization or facial age estimation, depending on your region.
• Your account must be in good standing. Active Community Guidelines violations, a LIVE-specific restriction or a recent strike will all hide the button even at 5,000 followers.
